Hong Kong has ushered in an era of Fintech which has been applied across different financial service types. The development of virtual banking in particular is gathering pace in Hong Kong and several virtual banks have launched a trial run of services this year.
At a virtual seminar co-organised by the FSDC and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the speaker introduced the new career opportunities in virtual banking and the new employment trend arising from digital banking. She encouraged students with diverse backgrounds to enter this field as long as they were passionate and curious about the sector, and had the mindset of continuous learning.
