Hong Kong, 22 January 2026 – The Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) today announced the appointments of its committee members, with effect from 17 January 2026.

Ten new members have been appointed to serve on the following five committees: the Policy Research Committee, Mainland Opportunities Committee, New Business Committee, Market Development Committee and Human Capital Committee, to provide counsel and support the FSDC’s work. In accordance with its Articles of Association, the FSDC consulted the Government on these appointments.

Mr Benjamin Hung, Chairman of the FSDC, said, “I am delighted to welcome our new committee members and thank our outgoing members for their valuable contributions to Hong Kong. With the diversity and breadth of expertise across our committees, the FSDC will continue to provide forward-looking, practical recommendations to support the long-term development of Hong Kong’s financial services industry and reinforce its position as a leading international financial centre.”
