The FSDC co-organised a panel session on “FinTech Development in the Greater Bay Area: What Role for Hong Kong?” in the Hong Kong FinTech Week 2018 on 31 October. Mr Joseph Chan, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region delivered the welcome remarks and Mr Christophe Lee, FSDC New Business Committee member chaired the panel, with Ms Winnie Wong, FSDC Council Member; Mr James Lloyd, FSDC New Business Committee member; and Mr Henri Arslanian, Chairman, FinTech Association of Hong Kong; PwC FinTech & Crypto Leader, Asia, as the panel speakers.
