The FSDC joined Hong Kong FinTech Week (HKFTW) again as a FinTech Partner by hosting two sessions at the most-anticipated anchor event of the industry in early November.


Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Mr Joseph Chan shared that the joint efforts of the HKSAR Government and the industry have been gaining momentum, with over 600 FinTech companies and start-ups operating locally. Our Executive Director Dr King Au introduced the FSDC’s upcoming research and market outreach work, which aims to advance the overall FinTech ecosystem in Hong Kong. FSDC member and seasoned FinTech professionals also discussed the latest developments and opportunities of Central Bank Digital Currency at a HKFTW panel.
